Classic from above, spectacular from the side, the Lea is a ring designed for those who want something quietly different without sacrificing an ounce of elegance.

What is a hidden halo?

Unlike a traditional halo — where a ring of diamonds sits visibly around the centre stone — the Lea’s hidden halo is set beneath the centre diamond, around the gallery of the ring. Invisible when viewed from above, it becomes a breathtaking reveal of brilliance when seen from the side or caught in the light. Each halo diamond is hand-selected to match the quality of the centre stone, and microset with precision by our craftsmen in Hatton Garden, London.

The effect is subtle, sophisticated, and genuinely beautiful — the centre diamond appears larger, the overall ring more brilliant, and the design more complex than a solitaire without ever being ostentatious.

Six shapes, one signature design

The Lea collection is available in six diamond shapes, each bringing its own character to the hidden halo design:

Every Lea ring sits on a slim 2mm band and pairs seamlessly with any of our diamond or classic wedding bands.

Made to order, made for you

Every ring in the Lea collection is made to order in our Hatton Garden, London workshops. Choose your diamond shape, your centre stone — natural or lab-grown, from 0.4ct to 3.0ct — your preferred colour (D–G) and clarity (FL–VS2), and your metal: 18ct yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, or platinum. Optional GIA or IGI certification available.

Handcrafted in Hatton Garden, London. Free resizing after your proposal. Complimentary engraving. Retail valuation for insurance included. Exchange policy if your partner wants a different design.

The Lea Brilliant Round Cut Diamond Hidden Halo Ring, designed at our Hatton Garden, London showroom, is a remarkable ring that can amaze anyone with its outstanding shape and style. It has a round brilliant-cut diamond that is held firmly in a claw set. As for the ring design, a hidden halo of round diamonds is present below the centre stone and it gives extra glow and clarity.

We have used the exceptional quality of small diamonds that are hand picked carefully. It is to make sure they match the style of the main diamond. This ring includes a 2mm rounded court band that makes it suitable for any wedding band.

The centre diamond is 1.00 carat (6.5mm) and the hidden halo is 0.04 carat. These rings are also available in 18ct rose, white, or yellow gold, as well as platinum. The ring is 2mm wide and weighs about 2.8 grams in gold and 3.8 grams in platinum.

Lea Emerald Cut Diamond Hidden Halo Engagement Ring

The Lea Emerald Cut Diamond Hidden Halo is another gorgeous engagement ring that has intricate details so its elegance is never questioned.

This ring contains a bright emerald-cut centre stone diamond, secured perfectly in a claw setting. A hidden halo setting of round brilliant diamonds glitters beneath the centre stone. Each diamond is carefully chosen so that it enhances the beauty of the centre stone.

This ring is 2mm wide and complements any wedding band, such as the Camille diamond wedding band. We have used a 1.00ct (8.6 × 5.5mm) diamond in the centre of the ring, and the hidden halo is 0.04ct and lies beneath it.

You can purchase this ring in platinum and 18ct gold. The white, rose, and yellow gold rings are hallmarked 750, and platinum rings are marked 950 as a proof of them being original.
