Description
The Amara is part of our Ready to Wear collection — a 1.05ct pear cut lab-grown diamond, set in a platinum rubover setting, ready for next-day delivery rather than made to order.
A rubover (or bezel) setting encircles the diamond entirely in a rim of metal, rather than holding it with individual claws. It’s a more protective way to set a stone — there’s no claw to catch, bend, or snag — and it gives the ring a smoother, more contemporary silhouette, with the diamond sitting flush against the surrounding platinum rather than lifted above it.
The diamond is 1.05ct, E colour, VVS2 clarity, and IGI certified (certificate LG517201550) — E colour is among the very top of the colourless range, and VVS2 clarity means any inclusions are so minor they’re difficult to see even under 10x magnification. As a lab-grown diamond, it’s chemically, physically, and optically identical to a natural diamond of the same grade, at a lower price point per carat.
The ring is 1.8mm wide, with a total weight of 4.1g, and is stamped 950 to confirm its platinum purity. It pairs particularly well with the Dassi wedding band, shown here alongside it.
Priced at £1,800. As part of our Ready to Wear collection, orders placed before 12pm are dispatched for next-day delivery, with ring size changes typically taking 2–3 days.
