Description
The Lea in radiant cut brings the same hidden halo design as its round, oval, and pear counterparts to a cut cornered rectangular shape — a radiant cut centre diamond, claw-set, with round brilliant diamonds tucked beneath it on a hidden halo that lifts brilliance without ever showing from above.
A radiant cut combines the crisp, geometric silhouette of an emerald cut with the greater brilliance of a round or princess cut, thanks to its cropped corners and additional faceting. It’s a genuinely versatile shape — more forgiving of small inclusions than an emerald cut (since its facets scatter light rather than showing flaws clearly), while still reading as a distinctly modern, angular alternative to a round or oval centre stone.
The hidden halo sits beneath the centre stone rather than framing its visible edge, so from above the ring reads as a clean radiant solitaire; tilted, the halo reveals itself, lifting the ring’s brilliance and making the centre stone appear marginally larger than its actual carat weight.
The centre diamond shown is 1.40ct (8.4mm x 5.6mm), with a total hidden halo diamond weight of 0.04ct, F colour, VS clarity. The ring is 2mm wide, with a total weight of approximately 2.8g in 18ct gold. The ring is stamped inside the ring with its hallmark — 750 for 18ct gold
Priced from £1,750 (final price depending on diamond choice). This ring sits flush next to any wedding band, including the 2.5mm Rounded Court band shown here.
