The Charlotte is our classic round brilliant cut solitaire — a single polished diamond, claw-set in the simplest possible setting so the stone does all the talking. It’s the ring most people picture when they think “engagement ring,” and it’s built to sit flush against almost any wedding band, including our classic rounded court 2.5mm band, shown here.
Every Charlotte is handcrafted to order in our Hatton Garden, London workshop, starting from £1,680 for the setting (final price depending on diamond choice). You can build yours with a natural or lab-grown diamond, in platinum, 18ct white, yellow, or rose gold — with carat weights from 0.4 to 3.0ct, and colour/clarity grades up to FL/D if you want museum-grade rarity, or more budget-friendly VS/G-H combinations if you’d rather put the money toward a bigger stone.
The diamond pictured is 1.00ct (6.5mm x 6.5mm), set on a 2.2mm band with a total weight of around 3g in 18ct gold or 3.5g in platinum. Every ring is hallmarked — 750 for 18ct gold, 950 for platinum — as standard.
