The Hannah pairs an oval cut centre diamond, claw-set to show off its elongated shape, with round brilliant diamonds thread-set along graduating shoulders — hand-selected to match the quality of the centre stone, so the ring reads as one continuous piece of brilliance rather than a big stone with separate accents.
An oval cut has a distinct advantage over a round brilliant at the same carat weight: its elongated shape gives more visible surface area, so an oval diamond typically looks larger across the finger than a round diamond of identical carat weight.
The graduating thread-set shoulders are sized to taper down from the centre stone, following the natural line of the finger rather than sitting as a uniform row — a subtler design choice than a straight line of matched stones, and one that keeps the eye moving toward the centre diamond rather than away from it.
The centre diamond shown is 1.00ct (8.3mm x 5.5mm), with a total shoulder diamond weight of approximately 0.10ct. The ring is 1.7mm wide, with a total weight of approximately 2.8g in 18ct gold or 3.7g in platinum. Every ring is hallmarked — 750 for 18ct gold, 950 for platinum.
