Platinum is the metal of choice for wedding bands that need to work harder than most — it’s naturally white, doesn’t fade or need re-plating like white gold, and its density means a platinum band wears more slowly than gold over decades of daily use. Every platinum wedding band on this page is bespoke made in our Hatton Garden, London workshops and hallmarked 950, confirming 95% pure platinum.
Profiles and styles
Choose from classic court and flat court profiles in widths from 2mm to 8mm, rounded or bevelled edges, milgrain and hammered finishes, or a twisted design like the Grace band. For something with more sparkle, our diamond-set platinum bands range from a single round diamond thread to full eternity settings, and our wishbone styles are designed to curve neatly around a solitaire engagement ring. Men’s and women’s platinum bands are available across the full width and finish range, so a couple can order matching or contrasting profiles from the same collection.
Pricing and process
Platinum wedding bands here start from £492 for a simple 2mm court band and range up to several thousand pounds for wider signature profiles or diamond-set eternity designs. Every band can be adjusted for width, finish and engraving, and — like our engagement rings — comes with free lifetime resizing, so it stays comfortable if your ring size changes.
Platinum vs gold
If you’re deciding between metals, platinum costs more than 18ct gold for the same design because it’s denser and rarer, but it needs less maintenance over its lifetime — no rhodium replating, unlike white gold. If your engagement ring is already platinum, matching the wedding band avoids any colour mismatch between the two.
